Voice It Out!
How do people think of you?
AND how do you want them to think of you in the future?
Lol. These 2 questions struck me like a bowling ball at the pins. You shuddered for a moment before putting down serious considerations over these 2 points. That's what maggie, my vocal teacher expresses. She points down that people thinks of her as a optimist, a LOUD person, and a longwinded vessel. Yet what she WANTS people to think of her as a definite optimist and an encourager, a LOUD person but influences positively, and a vessel but of a caring and concerned individual.
Soaring high as a cutting edge above the rest?
Have you all thought of such evaluation before? Haha. I think not. The way we carry ourselves in marketplaces and hubs will deter where we stand, how many FRIENDS we have and our climb up the social ladder. Amidst all of our hectic and routinely schedule, sometimes we fail to nuture our own EQ and AQ. Like what the bible said, God intends us for the frontline, upfront, and all the way to the frontier. But ultimately the choice rests upon us to decide from either an uprising roar or a disappointing laid-back slouch.
In the modern context, being the creame de la creame or simply the best can easily identify your goals as a 'notorious' one. Maggie said if you're purely the 'good-man' in society, you wont even be a tad close to the frontier. Soft? Play safe? Contained in a box? We're talking about being expressive, taking risks, taking the lead and BE the facilitator instead of being facilitated.
So how firm are you in determining the underlying perspectives that the people around has about you? What a difference it makes when you BOTHERED to put yourself in other people's shoes instead of firing opinions away like ARROWS for a bull's eye, but in this relation, all the arrows missed the target.
Think about it.
Okay. Time to crap again. LOL. Anyway, the above's just my personal overview about making a difference when it comes to being a cutting edge amongst the rest. Dont be shocked if you arent used to Edmund Tan expressing his views in this way. Just that I didnt bothered to type it out or shared it then. Okay. The future is what we want to achieve. But, dont forget your sole purpose ALONGSIDE the pursue of being a cutting edge.. to fufil His will. (:
